About KHCA

Neighbours looking after the neighbourhood

The Kailash Hills Community Association (KHCA) is the only democratically elected Resident Welfare Association of Kailash Hills, a colony next to East of Kailash in South Delhi. KHCA was registered in 2009 and speaks for around 1,000 families living in about 250 villas.

Residents elect a 28-member team of office bearers and executive members. Everything KHCA does is run by these elected members and by resident volunteers who give their time to the colony, as a whole team, with the support of residents and in coordination with the government authorities.

What we do

• Safety: guards, CCTV cameras, gates and lights in every lane.
• Civic works: roads, drains, sewer lines, water supply and parks, followed up with the departments responsible.
• A greener colony: saplings in every park and composting for zero waste.
• Community: cultural and social programmes, games competitions and the annual KAILASHA Deepawali Milan.

How we use your money

All KHCA accounts are audited to date, as the rules require. Several vendors are contacted before even a small job is given, and security money has never been used for any other purpose.

The difference in Kailash Hills between two or three years ago and today is clear to see. We are still working to improve, and we need the regular support of every resident.

Four resident-led forums

Alongside KHCA, four forums run by residents look after business, the environment, social good and fitness.

• KHEF, Kailash Hills Economic Forum: business and networking
• Green Army: zero waste and sustainability
• Rising Stars: social good and responsibility
• Yog & Aerobics Pariwaar: wellness and health

One Kailash Hills, one election, one RWA

An appeal for unity and a stronger tomorrow.

We request all the organisations of Kailash Hills to join hands. Let us announce a single election for Kailash Hills, so that the colony has one strong RWA.

If anyone truly wants to serve the colony, let every organisation of Kailash Hills come together for one election, so that one strong RWA serves every family.

Together we serve. Together we progress.
